The Physiotherapist provides professional assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to gym members, supporting injury prevention, recovery, and optimal physical performance. This role involves creating personalized therapy plans, collaborating with trainers and physical therapy team, and ensuring all interventions align with the club’s standards of safety, member care, and professional ethics.
I. Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assessment & Treatment
• Assessing injuries and prepare a treatment plan for the clients.
• Design personalized rehabilitation or exercise programs to address specific needs.
• Provide manual therapy, corrective exercises, and modalities as appropriate.
2. Injury Prevention & Member Education
• Educate members on injury prevention, proper exercise technique, and posture.
• Collaborate with trainers to modify workout routines for injured or at-risk members.
3. Collaboration & Communication
• Work closely with Personal Trainers and fitness staff to ensure safe exercise programming.
• Communicate member progress, limitations, and special requirements to relevant staff.
4. Safety & Compliance
• Ensure all therapy sessions follow local medical and professional regulations.
• Maintain hygiene, sterilization, and safety protocols for treatment areas and equipment.
• Keep accurate and confidential medical records for all members under care.
• Stay up-to-date with physiotherapy best practices, techniques, and certifications.
5. Administrative Duties
• Schedule therapy appointments and manage member follow-ups efficiently.
• Assist management in developing protocols or programs related to injury prevention or rehabilitation.
• Monitor equipment and supplies used in physiotherapy sessions and report needs for replenishment.

• Professional Expertise: Licensed physiotherapist with strong knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, and sports-related rehabilitation.
