DUTIES:
- Review CAD 3D drawings provided by design department in coordination with Factory Manager.
- Allocate EDM tasks according to production schedules provided by planning manager.
- Review 2D electrode drawings & SOPs to ensure readiness for production.
- Supervise machine setup, operation, and monitoring to maintain quality standards.
- Troubleshoot complex EDM issues and provide guidance to Senior and regular EDM Technicians.
- Conduct trial runs for new electrodes or complex parts.
- Approve completed work before submission to Quality Control.
- Supervise the stock and the re-use of electrodes.
- Maintain machine performance logs, oversee TPM activities, and coordinate calibration and maintenance.
- Ensure team adherence to safety, 5S, and SOP standards.
- Recommend process improvements to reduce setup time, tool wear, and enhance efficiency.
- Train and mentor EDM Technicians and Junior Technicians.
- Coordinate with production team on technical and workflow issues.
- Create and maintain an archive for each manufactured mold part, documenting all production details and records for future reference.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree: Vocational or technical degree in mechanics or related field.
- Language: Good command of English both spoken and written.
- Experience: +10 years of experience in EDM.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical expertise in manufacturing processes, machinery, and mold manufacturing, with in-depth knowledge in CAD/CAM tools
