Job Purpose
Lead the implementation of Malia Group’s Learning & Development strategy across Iraq, ensuring the effective execution of the annual training plan and the promotion of a dynamic learning culture.

Duties And Responsibilities
On Talent Development & Career Planning
- Contribute strategically to the yearly L&D business plan by providing data-driven insights, feedback, and proposals from the Iraq learning ecosystem
- Lead the identification of training and development needs across Iraq operations, ensuring alignment with business priorities, competency frameworks, and individual career paths
- Independently source, assess, and negotiate with training suppliers to secure high-impact, cost-effective learning solutions that address organizational capability gaps
- Own the development and execution of the annual training calendar for Iraq, ensuring timely implementation, optimal participation, and measurable learning outcomes
- Collaborate closely with internal Subject Matter Experts and Lebanon’s L&D team to co-design and deploy advanced training and coaching programs tailored to local business needs
- Design, facilitate, and evaluate in-person and virtual training sessions that drive engagement, practical application, and long-term knowledge retention
- Develop and oversee individual learning and career development plans, ensuring their execution supports both performance enhancement and succession readiness
- Analyze post-training results and behavioral impact, translate insights into actionable development plans, and continuously refine the learning strategy
- Act as the primary L&D focal point in Iraq, ensuring smooth communication and coordination with business leaders, HR team, and the Lebanon team
- Champion innovation in learning, staying ahead of trends in digital learning, e-learning tools, and blended methodologies to continuously enhance Malia Group’s development framework
On Onboardings
- Partner with hiring managers to design tailored onboarding learning plans that accelerate integration and performance
- Ensure alignment of Iraq’s onboarding experience with Group-wide standards and practices, while adapting approaches to fit local market
On Reporting
- Track and report on all L&D initiatives, onboarding progress, and development KPIs in Iraq, ensuring transparent communication with the L&D Manager.
- Measure learning effectiveness through post-training evaluations, ROI assessments, and qualitative feedback, presenting improvement recommendations regularly
Education And Experience
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Master's degree in HR is preferable
Experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in L&D or HR
