Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions for our newly-established holding company and its subsidiaries across multiple countries. This role requires a versatile HR professional capable of managing the complete employee lifecycle, from executive recruitment to policy development and implementation across several geographic locations.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Executive Search
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for all organizational levels, from entry-level positions to C-suite executives
- Execute sophisticated headhunting strategies for senior leadership positions using LinkedIn Recruiter, industry networks, and executive search methodologies
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates across multiple markets and regions
- Develop employer branding strategies to attract top-tier talent in competitive markets
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and executive search firms when necessary
Strategic HR Management
- Serve as the primary HR business partner for the holding company and all subsidiary entities
- Design and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives across multiple countries
- Provide expert guidance to leadership teams on all people-related matters
- Lead organizational development initiatives including restructuring, succession planning, and workforce planning
Policy Development & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks for the holding company and each subsidiary
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all operating countries
- Adapt policies to meet local legal requirements while maintaining corporate standards and values
- Conduct regular policy reviews and updates to reflect best practices and regulatory changes
Compensation & Benefits
- Design competitive compensation structures and benefits programs across different markets
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive positioning
- Manage salary reviews, bonus schemes, and equity compensation programs
- Oversee pension plans, insurance programs, and other employee benefits
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Handle complex employee relations issues including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution
- Implement performance management systems and processes across all entities
- Coach managers on performance improvement plans and difficult conversations
- Foster positive employee relations and a culture of engagement and accountability
Learning & Development
- Assess training needs and develop comprehensive learning and development programs
- Create leadership development initiatives and succession planning frameworks
- Facilitate onboarding programs for new hires at all levels
- Support career development pathways and internal mobility
HR Operations & Systems
- Oversee HRIS implementation and optimization for efficient data management
- Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and HR documentation
- Generate HR metrics and analytics to drive data-informed decision-making
- Manage HR budgets and resource allocation
International HR Coordination
- Navigate cultural differences and adapt HR practices to local contexts
- Coordinate with local HR teams or contacts in various countries
- Manage expatriate assignments, global mobility, and international employment matters
- Ensure consistent employee experience while respecting local requirements
Required Qualifications
Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, CIPD, or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Additional certifications in executive search or international HR management advantageous
Experience
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3-5 years in a management role
- Proven track record of hiring across all organizational levels, including senior executives
- Demonstrated experience managing HR functions in multi-country or multinational environments
- Experience working with holding company structures and multiple subsidiary entities
Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the CEO/COO and serves on the senior leadership team. The role may have direct reports or manage a small HR team depending on organizational needs.
Travel Requirements
This position requires travel (approximately 20-30%) to visit subsidiary locations and attend recruitment events, conferences, and business meetings.
