We are seeking a highly-skilled Mechanical / Industrial Engineer to join our team preferably with experience in Food Production.

Job description & Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting & repairs ensuring machinery operates within specified parameters.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on all mechanical equipment to ensure it runs safely and efficiently.
- Follow repair map, and operation and maintenance manuals handed over by the supervisor.
- Perform adequate repairs according to supervisor’s written or oral instructions.
- Diagnose and fix faults in plant machinery and mechanical systems, using problem-solving techniques to find root causes.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted safely and comply with food safety and industry regulations.
- Monitor production lines, perform inspections, and conduct tests to ensure equipment is performing to required specifications.
- Report to the supervisor any machines abnormalities.
- Responsible for the maintenance of all equipment including generators, industrial machines and all types of engines.
- Follows all Company safety rules, including maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
- Coordinate with team & colleagues to accomplish the maintenance tasks with minimum time and good quality work.
- Keep accurate records.
- Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.

KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Industrial equipment.
- Mechanical works & materials.

ABILITY TO:
- Work well under pressure or within deadlines
- Be on-call for emergency services
- Willingness to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs outside of business hours.
- Have a sense of team work.

Qualifications:
- BT, TS, LT Degree.
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in Food Production
