The CCTV Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining all surveillance systems to ensure optimal performance and full operational coverage across the facility.

The role includes conducting regular preventive maintenance, troubleshooting system issues, and performing corrective actions as needed.

The technician will also be responsible for setting up new cameras, including cabling, positioning, testing, and integrating them into the existing monitoring system.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and configure new CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related security equipment.

Perform regular preventive maintenance on all existing cameras to ensure clear image quality and proper functionality.

Diagnose and repair camera faults, wiring issues, or system malfunctions.

Ensure proper cabling, power supply connections, and network integration for all cameras.

Monitor system performance and conduct periodic inspections to identify potential issues before they occur.

Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance tasks, system upgrades, and equipment inventory.

Coordinate with the IT and security teams when integrating new cameras or expanding surveillance coverage.

Ensure all installations and repairs comply with safety standards and company policies.

Provide technical support and training to relevant staff on operating the CCTV system
