Job Role: Oversee the daily commercial and operational performance of the showroom while leading the local sales team, helpers, and cleaning staff. Ensure a high standard of customer service, achieve sales targets, and maintain an organized and visually appealing showroom environment. Act as the primary in-store leader responsible for operations, merchandising, staff discipline, and customer satisfaction.
Tasks and Duties
Lead and supervise the local sales team, showroom helpers, and cleaning staff.
Assign daily duties, ensure attendance discipline, and monitor overall performance.
Conduct daily briefings to communicate sales targets, promotions, and product updates.
Train staff on customer service, product knowledge, sales techniques, and display standards.
Drive sales achievement by supporting the team on the floor and engaging customers directly.
Handle key customers, upselling and cross-selling relevant items.
Address and resolve customer issues, complaints, and after-sales inquiries professionally.
Monitor daily KPIs: conversion rate, footfall, average basket size, and customer feedback.
Oversee opening and closing routines, ensuring all operational procedures are followed.
Ensure that the showroom environment is clean, organized, well-lit, and properly scented for a pleasant customer experience.
Manage cleaning team to maintain hygiene and showroom readiness at all times.
Supervise team in replenishing shelves, organizing stock, and preparing displays.
Ensure accurate and attractive product displays according to VM standards.
Reposition items based on customer movement, bestsellers, and new arrivals.
Confirm that price tags, labels, and packaging are always correct and updated.
Support setup for seasonal themes, promotional displays, and gift-set arrangements.
Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and out-of-stock items and report shortages to the Warehouse department.
Receive new shipments and supervising proper stacking and display.
Maintain accurate stock counts and ensure proper product rotation.
Submit daily sales reports, customer feedback, and operational issues to the Business Unit Manager.
Track sales performance of each staff member and recommend areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, showroom standards, and SOPs.
Required Skills
3 - 5 years experience in Household and home accessories products.
Preferably Business Management or Marketing & Sales University Graduate
Experience selling household products, ideally scent diffusers, accessories, and decorative items.
Basic proficiency in SAGE system is a plus.
Strong visual merchandising understanding and display creativity.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Persuasive selling ability and confidence in product presentation.
Customer-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
