Union Healthcare located in Baabda has an opportunity for a Credit Officer.

We are looking for someone to ensure that payments are received in a timely manner in order to reduce the average collection period and maintain a good relationship with the pharmacies’ management.

Responsible for overseeing accounts’ situation (Average collection period/profitability/sales) and accordingly release orders while ensuring full compliance with the set credit limits, credit terms, and alignment with management team objectives.

Responsibilities
• Monitors the receivables through printing out the “Past Due” and “Customer Aging” reports issued from the Oracle Receivables module, weekly monitoring the wholesalers’ statement of accounts, and issuing occasionally the statement of accounts of the customers and transmits them to relevant salesmen.
• Meets and negotiates with customers having difficulties to pay in order to reach an agreement.
• Communicates with problematic Pharmacies on need basis to ensure all agreed payment terms are clear.
• Backs-up the collection operations by following continuously the pharmacies to ensure payment of the due sums. (making sure the checks and sums are ready to be collected)
• Coordinates with the Pharma field sales managers and head of drivers team on the collection and release order process.
• Reviews the unapplied report on daily basis and adjusts the clients’ statements accordingly.
• Builds strong relationships with key receivables clerks to enhance the collection process.
• Releases the orders based on Credit Limit and Credit Terms of Payment.

Qualifications
• Holder of a bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 4 years of related experience, preferably in a healthcare company
• Communication Skills
• Interpersonal Skills
• Negotiation Skills
