Responsibilities
• Develop engaging, creative, and original content across various platforms (social media, website, newsletters, press releases, and promotional campaigns).
• Collaborate with editorial, design, and marketing teams to ensure consistent brand voice and messaging.
• Write, edit, and adapt content to suit different audiences (parents, educators, librarians, and international partners).
• Research industry trends, cultural topics, and competitor activity to propose relevant and innovative content ideas.
• Create compelling captions, blog posts, and storytelling content to highlight books, authors, illustrators, and publishing initiatives.
• Work closely with the design team to develop content for multimedia formats (carousels, reels, infographics, promotional videos).
• Manage and update content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent publishing across channels.
• Support in drafting speeches, formal letters, and promotional copy for events, book fairs, and international rights communications.
• Monitor content performance (engagement, reach, and conversion) and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Maintain brand tone, linguistic quality, and adherence to publishing house standards in both Arabic and English.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Knowledge
• Strong understanding of publishing industry dynamics, particularly in children’s literature.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X) and content best practices.
• Knowledge of SEO principles, online content strategies, and storytelling techniques.
• Awareness of cultural sensitivities and the ability to adapt content for diverse audiences.
Skills
• Excellent writing and editing skills in Arabic and English (formal, creative, and marketing styles).
• Strong research and analytical skills to develop accurate and engaging content.
• Proficiency in content planning tools (e.g., Trello, Notion, or similar) and basic design/editing tools (Canva, Adobe Suite).
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Abilities
• Creativity in developing compelling narratives aligned with the publishing house’s mission.
• Ability to adapt tone and style depending on target audience and platform.
• Capacity to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.
• Strong interpersonal communication to liaise with authors, illustrators, and external partners.
