Job Summary:
The Market Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation of the market, ensuring smooth workflow, proper stock management, excellent customer service, and efficient cashier operations. The supervisor oversees inventory, places orders, and supports the team while actively working on the floor when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily market operations and ensure smooth opening and closing procedures

Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase orders in a timely manner

Receive, check, and organize deliveries according to company standards

Maintain accurate inventory control and minimize waste or shortages

Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked, clean, and well presented

Handle cashier duties when required, including cash handling and POS operations

Assist customers and resolve complaints professionally

Supervise and support staff, ensuring proper task execution

Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and company policies

Report daily sales, stock issues, and operational needs to management

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience in retail or market supervision

Strong knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes

Ability to work as both supervisor and cashier

Basic computer and POS system skills

Good communication and leadership skills

Ability to work under pressure and multitask
