Job Description and Requirements:
- Report all technical issues/reports to division manager in charge of the project.
- Report all HR issues to the Service Unit Division Manager.
- Support all divisions under Services Unit (Drive, Marine, Traction, Training, Substations, Electrolyze, Powerplants, Industrial and operations and maintenance, etc...
- Maintain electrical systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy safety, reliability and sustainability.
- Supervise the Alignment, fitting, and assembling component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures and templates.
- Analyze and record test results, and prepare written testing documentation.
- Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
- Inspect parts for surface defects.
- Test performance of electrical assemblies, using appropriate test instruments.
- Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
- Train others engineers and technicians when asked.
- Reading design specifications and technical requirement.
- Liaising with others in the design team; Liaising with clients and contractor.
- Attending meeting on site.
- Recording, analyzing, and interpreting a test data.
- Proposing modifications and retesting products.
- Servicing and maintaining equipment.
- Preparing product documentation; writing reports and giving presentations.
- Monitoring and maintaining product in use to improve on future design.
- Interface with construction activities and accept electrical systems into service completely; pre and post energization checks.
Background:
· Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
· Minimum 5 years of field service and/or commissioning experience
· Strong written and verbal proficiency in English, French is a plus
· AVR / Generator Excitation / Scada system / Electrical Drive
· PLC programming, knowledge in fuel saver system, substation design is a plus
- Setup and operate high voltage/high current test circuits.
- Setting up high voltage and current measuring equipment.
- Strong computer skills (e.g. understanding of networking protocol, quick to learn new software, able to solve programming issues)

· Frequent travel on Overseas Missions around the World
