Beit Kanz restaurant is hiring a Barman!

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Barman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including coffee, espresso-based drinks, cocktails, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The role requires a commitment to excellent customer service, quality beverage preparation, cleanliness, and efficient bar operations

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages (such as cappuccino, latte, and americano), cocktails, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to established recipes and standards
- Take and serve beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide recommendations to guests on drinks and menu offerings when needed
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the bar and coffee station at all times
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other bar equipment
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or replenishment needs
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of beverages and bar supplies
- Handle billing and payments accurately when required
- Collaborate with waiters/waitresses and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barman/barista or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, beverages, and bar service techniques is a plus
- Good knowledge of coffee preparation, including espresso-based beverages such as cappuccino, latte, and americano
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
