The role ensures efficient inventory management, accurate stock control, timely replenishment, and proper storage and distribution of FMCG products while maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations Management
Manage the day-to-day operations of the FMCG warehouse serving the two retail stores.
Ensure efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
Optimize warehouse space utilization and storage layouts.
Develop and implement warehouse procedures and operational standards.
2. Inventory Management
Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability.
Oversee stock replenishment for supermarket items.
Conduct regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and annual stocktakes.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
Monitor slow-moving, near-expiry, and obsolete inventory.
3. Store Replenishment and Distribution
Coordinate with store managers to ensure timely replenishment of products.
Monitor product availability to avoid stock shortages and overstock situations.
Plan and supervise transfers between the warehouse and stores.
Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
4. Team Leadership
Supervise warehouse supervisors, team leaders, and warehouse staff.
Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide coaching and training.
Evaluate employee performance and recommend development plans.
Promote teamwork and maintain high employee morale.
5. Health, Safety, and Compliance
Ensure compliance with company policies and warehouse safety regulations.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
Ensure proper handling and storage of FMCG products according to quality standards.
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions when necessary.
6. Reporting and Performance Monitoring
Prepare regular reports on inventory, stock movements, warehouse productivity, and KPIs.
Analyze warehouse performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
