Job Details

The HR Officer is responsible for supporting and executing the organization's human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, attendance monitoring, compensation and benefits administration, personnel records management, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. The role contributes to maintaining an efficient, compliant, and employee-focused work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Selection
  • Coordinate the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding.
  • Screen applications and schedule interviews.
  • Conduct initial candidate assessments and reference checks.
  • Prepare employment offers and employment contracts.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Employee Records & Administration
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files.
  • Ensure all HR documentation is complete and properly archived.
  • Update employee information within the HR information system.
  • Prepare employment certificates, letters, and official HR documents.
  • Attendance & Leave Management
  • Monitor employee attendance and working hours.
  • Administer annual leave, sick leave, maternity leave, and other leave requests.
  • Coordinate attendance discrepancies with department managers.
  • Prepare attendance and leave reports.
  • Performance Management
  • Coordinate employee probation evaluations.
  • Assist managers in conducting periodic performance appraisals.
  • Monitor completion of performance evaluation schedules.
  • Maintain performance management records.
  • Training & Development
  • Coordinate internal and external training programs.
  • Maintain employee training records.
  • Monitor mandatory compliance training.
  • Assist in evaluating training effectiveness.
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing accurate HR data.
  • Maintain records related to salaries, benefits, allowances, and deductions.
  • Coordinate employee insurance and other benefit programs.
  • Employee Relations
  • Respond to employee HR-related inquiries.
  • Support conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.
  • Promote compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
  • Foster a positive working environment.
  • Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Lebanese Labor Law and company policies.
  • Support HR compliance with applicable GSDP/GxP quality requirements.
  • Participate in internal and external audits when required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification is an advantage.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is preferred.
  • Lebanese Labor Law.
  • HR policies and procedures.
  • Recruitment and selection practices.
  • Performance management systems.
  • Payroll and attendance processes.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • HR Information Systems (HRIS).
