HR & Admin. Officer - Congo (DRC)

Leading Manufacturing Group is looking for HR & Admin. Officer to join its team in Goma – Congo (DRC).

He will be overseeing HR & Administration functions in all companies' industries in Congo (DRC).



Responsibilities

Recruit and select the best candidates for different roles within the organization. He also has to ensure that the recruitment process complies with the relevant laws and policies.

Designing, organizing, and evaluating various learning programs, such as orientation, induction, on-the-job training, and career development.

Maintaining positive and productive relationships between the employees and the management. This involves handling issues such as grievances, complaints, disputes, and disciplinary actions, and ensuring that they are resolved fairly and effectively. Promote employee engagement and satisfaction, by implementing initiatives such as recognition. Raise to the management required actions for having a good work condition to the employees.

Maintaining employee records, updating policies and procedures, preparing HR reports and documents, and managing attendance, payroll input, and benefits (Leaves, food, transportation, Medical, Accommodation etc…). Ensuring that the organization adheres to the relevant legal standards, such as health and safety and labor laws requirements.

Developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, and procedures.

Ensuring the office is stocked with necessary supplies and that all equipment is working and properly maintained.

Oversee all facilities / Buildings, accommodation, Vehicles, and transportation services provided by the company.

Conduct all related governmental formalities processing including legal and compliance requirements for local authorities (work Residence Permits, Visas, Ministry of Labor, Municipality, etc…)

Perform any other delegated task or assignment in line with employee competencies.



Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.

3-5 years relevant work experience.

Proficient in French language (oral and written). English is definitely a plus.

Strong skills in verbal and written communication, coaching, interpersonal, problem-solving, teamwork, and customer service.

Good knowledge of HR best practices, Local laws, and trends.

Energetic self-starter with Ability to work independently and under pressure
