Role Description
The Account Manager for Social Media will be responsible for managing and executing social media strategies that promote our events and strengthen our foundation’s brand. You will work closely with internal teams to create engaging content, build relationships with our audience, and ensure that our social media platforms are dynamic and successful.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage social media campaigns to promote upcoming events, boost engagement, and build brand awareness across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Collaborate with event planning and communications teams to create content calendars, ensuring timely posts aligned with event schedules.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and Meta Business Suite, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain brand consistency across all social media platforms, ensuring our messaging reflects the foundation's values and mission.
- Provide post-event analysis, including engagement metrics, audience insights, and social media campaign performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) managing social media accounts, ideally in event management or related industries.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and community management.
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using social media analytics tools and adjusting strategies based on data.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
