Position: Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:


Review and validate entries made by accountants, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and principles.

Manage month-end reconciliation balances.

Control provisions and maintain prepayment/accrual tables at month-end.

Book and manage investments.

Handle employee accounts (e.g., bordereaux, loans, family insurance) in accordance with processing policies.

Ensure accuracy of intercompany balances (technical and non-technical) at month-end.

Reconcile supplier balances at the end of each month.

Collaborate with production and finance teams for data validation and bank reconciliation, ensuring precise financial reporting.

Assist in creating detailed accounting dimensions for improved account tracking.

Ensure financial reporting adheres to standard formats.

Post journal entries to the General Ledger based on the authorization matrix.

Monitor cash flow and manage VAT accounts.

Prepare year-end closing files.

Stay updated on financial regulations, laws, and developments that impact financial activities.

Prepare and present management reports, business plans, feasibility studies, financial plans, annual budgets, forecasts, and other financial documents.

Review all commercial contracts and modifications, confirming financial compliance with company policies.

Prepare and submit weekly cash forecasts, monthly financial reports, and other corporate reporting requirements with a focus on quality.

Oversee the payroll function, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.

Lead external audits, analyze results, and recommend audited financial statements for approval.

Analyze and review all financial statements, monitoring company liabilities and asset turnover.

Track department costs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Monitor cash positions and movements regularly.

Review and ensure accuracy of accounting and related system reports.

Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.

Complete month-end close procedures efficiently.

Approve and reject payments as necessary.

Coordinate with cost controllers on payment terms with suppliers and control purchases.

Prepare and distribute the monthly Accounting Department Report to management.

Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as required by management.

Prepare accounts payable to suppliers at month-end.

Review inventory and purchase ledger reports.

Update selling prices in POS as directed by authorized personnel.

Maintain the security of departmental information.

Collaborate with VAT consultants for quarterly tax filing support.

Coordinate with external auditors as needed.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.

Strong financial analysis, organizational, and stress management skills.

Proven ability to identify and resolve accounting issues.

Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Experience with consolidation software is preferred.
