The Sales Manager is responsible to complete sales process of the market segment (Syngas & Fuels) for the BU catalysts. The responsibilities as a sales manager starts from acquisition of bid proposal including risk management, contract negotiations and after-sales services and supports order processing. Will be responsible for maintaining business relationship with existing customers by frequent visits and communication in the country of Qatar for Syngas and Fuels and in MENA entire refineries for Fuels catalysts. Ability to compete against well-known competitors having exactly equivalent catalysts.
Responsibilities
- Main objective of this role includes securing and closing business cycle needed to sell catalysts for Ammonia, hydrogen methanol and refineries processes and support engineering and license partners to secure projects.
- The incumbent has full ownership of customer needs to satisfy in for syngas and fuels catalysts requirements/ supervisor decides on the profitability of the deals and EBITDA improvement contribution of the sales.
- The Incumbent is expected to interact (internally) with technology advisors, product managers, production sites , R&D scientists and GBS supply chain and also externally with all levels of customer hierarchy involved in catalysts and entire sales process
- The role also requires high level of knowledge about each application use at customer plant
- It also requires frequent follow up with customers that can reach several meetings and various calls with several stakeholders
Requirements
Education Background:
Any Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum science would be preferred.
Business Experience
Minimum 5 years of expertise in Sales in Oil & Gas field.
