Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage the human resources operations for our growing portfolio of restaurants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the HR strategy across multiple locations, ensuring a positive and compliant working environment and supporting our restaurant managers in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent in a fast-paced and dynamic industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
o Manage recruitment and staffing efforts across all restaurant locations, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
o Collaborate with restaurant managers to understand staffing needs and drive recruitment strategies.
o Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless integration for new hires.
• Employee Relations:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related employee inquiries and concerns.
o Foster a positive, open, and respectful work environment across all locations.
o Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
• Training & Development:
o Develop and implement training programs tailored to the restaurant industry, ensuring employees are equipped with the skills needed for success.
o Support managers in identifying employee development opportunities and succession planning.
o Ensure all staff are compliant with mandatory certifications and training, including food safety, health regulations, and company policies.
• Performance Management:
o Develop and execute performance management systems that align with company goals.
o Oversee performance reviews and provide guidance to restaurant managers on employee evaluations.
o Identify high performers and establish programs for talent retention.
• Compliance & Policy:
o Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies across all restaurant locations.
o Regularly audit HR practices to ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards.
o Develop and update company policies and procedures, ensuring consistency across all restaurants.
• Compensation & Benefits:
o Manage and review compensation structures and employee benefits programs to ensure competitiveness within the industry.
o Oversee payroll processing and address any payroll issues or discrepancies.
o Develop and recommend employee recognition programs to enhance morale and retention.
• Health & Safety:
o Work closely with restaurant managers to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
o Develop and maintain emergency procedures and staff training on safety protocols.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of HR management experience within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and the hospitality environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple locations.
• Proficient in HR software and systems, with experience in payroll and scheduling platforms.
• A strong focus on employee development and fostering a positive work culture.
• Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not required
