Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:_x000D_ Leadership & Strategy:_x000D_ Develop and implement strategic plans to meet the organization s objectives._x000D_ Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a positive work environment._x000D_ Ensure that the NGO s programs align with the mission and priorities._x000D_ Financial Management & Fundraising:_x000D_ Manage the organization s budget and ensure sound financial practices._x000D_ Lead fundraising activities and build long-term relationships with donors and partners._x000D_ Identify new funding opportunities and prepare grant applications._x000D_ Program Management:_x000D_ Oversee the design, implementation, and monitoring of programs and projects._x000D_ Set performance targets and evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing initiatives._x000D_ Ensure compliance with local regulations and donor requirements._x000D_ Governance & Reporting:_x000D_ Report to the Board of Directors and provide timely updates on operations._x000D_ Develop policies and frameworks to improve organizational efficiency._x000D_ Prepare detailed progress reports for internal and external stakeholders._x000D_ External Relations & Advocacy:_x000D_ Act as the spokesperson for the organization and represent it at events and meetings._x000D_ Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies, donors, partners, and media._x000D_ Advocate for issues relevant to the NGO s mission and build public awareness campaigns._x000D_ _x000D_ Qualifications & Skills:_x000D_ Proven experience (7+ years) in leadership roles within the NGO sector or related fields._x000D_ Strong background in program management, strategic planning, and fundraising._x000D_ Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting and reporting._x000D_ Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills._x000D_ Familiarity with Lebanese social, political, and economic contexts._x000D_ Fluent in Arabic and English (French is a plus)._x000D_ Bachelor s degree in business administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Proven experience (7+ years) in leadership roles within the NGO sector or related fields._x000D_ Strong background in program management, strategic planning, and fundraising._x000D_ Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting and reporting._x000D_ Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills._x000D_ Familiarity with Lebanese social, political, and economic contexts._x000D_ Fluent in Arabic and English (French is a plus)._x000D_ Bachelor s degree in business administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
