Site Engineer
Experience: 2 3 years
We are looking for a Civil Engineer with 2 3 years of experience to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and supervision of the construction site. The main responsibility of this position is to be present on site, manage site activities, coordinate the different trades, and ensure that the works are executed properly, on schedule, within budget, and according to the approved drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Site Management
- Take full responsibility for the construction site and daily site activities.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, workers, suppliers, and site teams.
- Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Follow up on civil, architectural, MEP, finishing, and other site works.
- Coordinate the sequence of works between different trades to avoid delays or conflicts.
- Monitor daily site progress and ensure the project is progressing according to schedule.
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues in coordination with the project team and consultants.
- Check delivered materials and ensure they comply with the required specifications.
- Follow up on site measurements, quantities, and completed works.
- Maintain proper site documentation and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
- Coordinate site inspections with consultants and ensure comments are properly addressed.
Technical & Project Responsibilities
- Prepare and review BOQs and quantity take-offs.
- Monitor cost control, quantities, material usage, and project expenses.
- Prepare and follow up on project planning and schedules.
- Follow up on construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Track variations and changes occurring during construction.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients when required.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2 3 years of site/construction experience.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, BOQ preparation, cost control, and scheduling.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage site responsibilities.
- Valid driving license and own car are essential.
