Sr. Business Analyst

Mission:

As a Senior Business Analyst/Banking Expert, you'll be assigned to a major client of NOEMA and play a pivotal role in analyzing, evaluating and improving banking processes. Your expertise will drive efficiency, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence by collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions. Your analytical insights and project management skills are pivotal in successfully implementing new processes, ultimately contributing to the bank's overall operational excellence and competitive edge in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of existing banking processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams (including IT, operations, and business units) to translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams
  • Design and document detailed process maps and workflow diagrams to facilitate the implementation of new processes
  • Analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of implemented processes
  • Develop comprehensive business cases to support proposed enhancements and communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders
  • Support project teams during implementation (timeline, budget, and quality) and end-user adoption of new processes

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Banking business analysis or as a bank employee (supporting different lines of businesses in the front or back office, mainly teller and cash management)
  • Good understanding of the underlying technological principles used by banking systems
  • Good understanding of E2E Banking processes
  • Awareness of the full software development lifecycle from design to support
  • Fluency in English

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in UK Banking Business Processes
  • Experience in API design and data modelling
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and BPMN Engines (e.g. Camunda)
  • Working experience in Scrum, Kanban, or Agile methodologies

Mode of Employment:

  • Contract
