Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Project Engineer for a contracting firm based in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading mechanical engineering efforts, ensuring the project meets all technical, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works on the project site.
- Ensure MEP work is carried out as per approved shop drawings and within the timeframe and progress of the approved construction program.
- Ensure that the installation, inspection, and testing of all MEP equipment, fittings, and work implemented meets the specifications and consultant requirements.
- Verify the accuracy of shop drawings and their compliance with the specifications, consultant’s design, and existing local authority standards.
- Review consultant’s design and specifications.
- Take complete responsibility for deciding on day-to-day work that needs to be carried out by subordinates, including scheduling activities, assigning tasks to groups or individuals, ensuring the accuracy of work conducted, supplying resources, and addressing operational issues and problems.
- Coordinate with other project personnel to ensure that deadlines, procedures, and other project requirements are met.
- Liaise with local authorities for the approval of MEP services drawings and service connections.
- Prepare shop drawing and material submittals for consultant’s approval.
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 5-7 years of work experience in the MEP industry.
- GCC experience is mandatory.
- Demonstrated technical and analytical skills in the relevant field.
- Proficiency in HVAC systems, particularly VRF and DX systems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced user of MS Office and software tools.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia
