IT Specialist

  • Back up network data.
  • Identifies the causes of networking problems, using diagnostic testing software and equipment.
  • Configures wide area network (WAN) or local area network (LAN) routers or related equipment.
  • Installs network software, including security or firewall software.
  • Analyzes network data to determine network usage, disk space availability, or server function.
  • Installs new hardware or software systems or components, ensuring integration with existing network systems.
  • Installs or repair network cables.
  • Trains users in procedures related to network applications software or related systems.
  • Runs monthly network reports.
  • Stays abreast of advances in technology. 
  • Consults with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
  • Installs, updates and verifies Anti-virus on each computer.
  • Connects with Management system supplier and programmer.
  • Provides programmers with requested documents in cooperation with concerned party or department.
  • Trains staff in the use of the Software and database information (Navision/Noria).
  • Evaluates the organization's technology use and needs and recommend improvements
  • Reviews and approves all systems charts and programs prior to their implementation.
  • Quotes & Suggests Purchase of necessary equipment (in cooperation with purchasing department).
  • Undertakes any other reasonable tasks requested by the Management.

Skills

  • Bachelor degree in computer science &/or computer & network engineering (Master is a plus).
  • Min 6 years’ experience in similar field.
  • Fluent in Arabic, English & French.
  • Networking.
  • Cloud-based data access and sharing software.
  • Knowledge in Computers and Electronics.
  • Knowledge in telecommunication.
  • Knowledge in ERP.
  • Time management.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
