Facilities Manager

Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all building-related activities for our clients’ sites across the country. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all the facilities are safe, well-maintained, and meet all legal and company standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of leading a team to maintain and improve the workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:
✓ Oversee and manage the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and utilities.
✓ Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.
✓ Ensure the facility complies with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
✓ Manage and supervise facility staff, including maintenance workers and janitorial staff.
✓ Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
✓ Monitor and manage facility budgets, including expense tracking and cost-saving initiatives.
✓ Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues.
✓ Manage space planning, including the layout and allocation of office and work areas.
✓ Plan and manage facility-related projects such as renovations, relocations, and expansions.
✓ Ensure the availability of essential services such as electricity, water, HVAC, and security systems.
✓ Respond to facility-related emergencies promptly and effectively.
✓ Maintain accurate records of all facility activities, including maintenance logs, service contracts, and safety inspections.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:
✓ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
✓ A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management
✓ Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
✓ Excellent project management and organizational skills.
✓ Strong leadership and team management abilities.
✓ Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
✓ Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
✓ Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
✓ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
✓ Fluency in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
✓ Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours.

Preferred Qualifications:
✓ Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., IFMA CFM, FMP) is a plus.
✓ Experience working in a multinational environment is an advantage
