Role Description
- Client Acquisition: Identify and approach potential clients, including construction firms, real estate developers, and other businesses in need of structural engineering services.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to secure ongoing projects.
- Market Research: Conduct research to understand local market trends, industry needs, and competitive landscape to effectively target potential clients.
- Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to establish connections and promote the company’s services.
- Proposal Preparation: Assist in preparing and presenting proposals and bids for new projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities.
- Negotiation: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure projects while ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Reporting: Track and report on progress, client interactions, and project acquisition activities to the management team.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in business development or sales, preferably in the construction or engineering sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships effectively.
- Familiarity with the local and abroad market and industry trends.
This role is typically compensated based on the successful acquisition of new projects or clients, often through a commission structure or project-based fees
