Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Account Manager with a proven track record of at least 5 years in selling software and IT solutions in Africa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through proactive client acquisition, maintaining strategic relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs. This role demands a strong understanding of the African IT market, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to promote software and IT solutions across African markets.

- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the region, focusing on enterprise-level clients and key industries.

- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.

- Collaborate with technical teams to understand customer requirements and provide the best possible solutions.

- Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and contracts to meet the unique needs of clients.

- Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the competition.

- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.

- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs by driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base.

- Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to senior management on a regular basis.


Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience selling software and IT solutions, preferably in the African market.

- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Strong network of contacts within the IT and software industry in Africa.

- Ability to manage and grow a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

- Ability to travel within Africa as needed.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
