Store Manager

The Store Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the general operations of the store and the employees working within, according to company standards. Responsible for the inventory, maintenance and external appearance of the store.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare management information reports and figures, and set store action plan on low KPIs performance
  • Conduct market study and communicate market or mall events to the Brand Manager
  • Ensure the effective implementation of plans, policies and procedures
  • Ensure all ranges are effectively merchandised in line with brand image and standards
  • Report store malfunction issues to the concerned department
  • Solve critical operational problems including customers’ complaints and communicate it with the Brand Manager and Back Office
  • Manage order placement/ requisitioning activities in order to maximize sales and meet stock performance objectives, and analyze sales performance and ensure stock is effectively measured and controlled
  • Handle the opening and closing procedures of the store, and ensure cash management policies and procedures are followed, and cash registers are accurately reconciled
  • Conduct Japanese meetings in order to ensure objectives and events are properly understood and communicated
  • Manage employees schedule, leave requests, extra hours based on budgeted hours and/ or visitors’ traffic, daily sales targets, events, operational needs in coordination with the HR Department
  • Issue purchase order to all internal store supplies in coordination with the Line Manager
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient receiving process of items/shipments as well as monitor all kind of inventory activities
  • Delegate work load appropriately and effectively
  • Manage the store staff by setting goals and objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating employees, identifying successors, and creating a positive work environment in order to have a successful retention rate


Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a managerial role in the Retail field
