Role Description
Position: Accounting & Administrative Associate
Location: Adonis - Zouk Mosbeh
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting Tasks:
- Perform data entry, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and journal entries.
- Support the preparation and filing of VAT reports while ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Assist in payroll processing, including ensuring accuracy in salaries, benefits, deductions, and taxes.
- Work with accounting software to manage and monitor the organization’s finances.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Manage the daily administrative flow to ensure smooth office operations.
- Handle invoicing, including generating and following up on invoices.
- Provide administrative support to other departments when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar accounting or administrative role is a must.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage teams effectively.
- Basic understanding of local tax laws, VAT regulations, and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and social security documentation.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
Skills
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in accounting and administrative tasks.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic. French is a plus.
