Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Skilled HVAC Technician at BPM. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, plumbing, preventive maintenance, and handling electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems to identify the root cause of problems.
• Repair or replace defective components and parts of HVAC systems, such as compressors, fans, motors, and thermostats.
• Install and connect HVAC equipment, including air handling units, condensing units, evaporators, and ductwork.
• Collaborate with others to ensure timely completion of installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures while working on HVAC systems to minimize risks and accidents.
• Willing to work on a mobile system application to enter accurate records of work performed, including parts used and hours spent, for accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Certified as HVAC Technician from a recognized technical school or institute.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Skilled HVAC Technician or in a comparable role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ventilation and heating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
