The accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This role involves conducting audits, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to support decision-making processes. The accountant will also handle accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and assist with budget preparation.

Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and financial performance metrics to provide management with actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinate and lead annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to recommend process improvements and optimize financial operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
• Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
