About the Role
Role Description
The Senior Business Development Manager will lead efforts in acquiring new business clients while managing and growing relationships with existing ones. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales and account management, preferably in the areas of digital customer engagement, customer loyalty, and/or SaaS-based technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Execute on strategic plans to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders across prospective and existing clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals aligned with company objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership growth.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility.
- Report regularly on sales performance, pipeline development, and growth strategies to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, Engineering or Computer Science fields (MBA preferred).
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales, with a strong emphasis on B2B solutions.
- Demonstrated success in selling digital engagement, loyalty, or SaaS products is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in competitive markets.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, AI/ML applications, and customer analytics.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
