The Job in Brief

What You’ll be Doing as a Senior Accountant
Accounting and Finance
- Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping for all companies.
- Manage and organize accruals, depreciation, and manual entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform month-end close for each company, along with quarterly and yearly closing.
- Support the Accounting Manager with automated tasks in the ERP system, including vendor, expense, and journal entry approvals, as well as reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) for all companies.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to ensure all subsidiary entities are properly consolidated within the ERP system for accurate financial statements.
- Oversee the issuance of invoices across all legal entities.
- Maintain and update the AP folder and ensure each company’s documentation and records are up to date.
- Maintain a Contract Master list on the ERP, ensuring all contract details are accurately recorded.
- Provide reconciliation support to the Accounting Manager, ensuring accounts, bank statements, and contracts are regularly reviewed and discrepancies promptly resolved.
- Prepare and validate reconciliations, assisting in investigating significant discrepancies in cash, expenses, and inventory.
- Conduct monthly and yearly audits across all legal entities alongside the Accounting Manager.
- Stay updated on changes in financial and tax regulations to ensure compliance for all legal entities.
Budget and Reporting
- Assist the Accounting Manager and CFO in collaborating with department heads to develop and manage budgets for marketing, operations, technology, and other functions.
- Work with the Accounting Manager to prepare and manage monthly and yearly financial and tax reports, including closings for all Companies.
- Maintain and organize accounting files and documents (both digital and physical), including audited financials, invoices, and tax statements, ensuring an efficient and accessible filing system.
- Generate financial reports and dashboards as needed to support strategic decision-making.
About You and the Skills You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality or hotel sector.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Business Central.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
- Demonstrated professional maturity and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Self-discipline, time management skills, and ability to work independently.
- Tech-savvy with a thorough understanding of ERP, CRM, and reporting dashboards.
