Qualifications

Education : Bachelor Degree in Logistics and Transportation or any related field

Experience in shipping lines is required.

years of experience: 6-10 years

candidates shall be now in Lebanon and able to join with short notice

Job Description :

Supervise day-to-day shipping operations, including vessel scheduling, container management, and cargo handling.

Coordinate with port authorities, terminal operators to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor the loading and unloading processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.



Lead, train, and supervise a team of shipping staff, ensuring clear communication and task delegation.

Monitor team performance and provide feedback to enhance productivity.

Resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.

Ensure accurate and timely preparation of shipping documents, such as bills of lading, manifests, and customs declarations.

Maintain compliance with international shipping regulations, including S and local port requirements.

Conduct audits to verify adherence to policies and procedures.



Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Provide updates to customers on cargo status and vessel schedules.

Work closely with sales and customer service teams to maintain strong client relationships.

Monitor shipping costs and negotiate with service providers to optimize expenses.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Track and analyze operational KPIs to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:

Address and resolve operational disruptions, such as delays, container shortages, or damage to cargo.

Coordinate contingency plans to minimize impacts on schedules and customer commitments.

Prepare regular reports on shipping activities, including operational performance, cost analysis, and incident tracking.
