Solar Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Solar Engineer to design, implement, and maintain solar power systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of photovoltaic (PV) systems and a passion for renewable energy. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of solar energy projects, working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
System Design and Engineering:

Design and develop solar PV systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Perform site assessments to determine feasibility and optimal system layout.
Utilize software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst) for system modeling and design.
Project Implementation:

Oversee installation processes, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning.
Performance Monitoring and Maintenance:

Conduct performance analysis of installed systems and recommend improvements.
Develop maintenance schedules to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
Respond to system faults and oversee repair activities.
Compliance and Standards:

Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, industry standards, and environmental guidelines.
Prepare technical documentation, including reports, drawings, and operation manuals.
Client Engagement:

Work closely with clients to understand their energy needs and provide customized solutions.
Educate clients on system operations, maintenance, and energy savings.
Research and Development:

Stay updated on advancements in solar technology and integrate innovative solutions into projects.
Explore opportunities for integrating solar with other renewable energy systems (e.g., wind, storage).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Proven experience in designing and implementing solar PV systems.
Proficiency in solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, HelioScope).
Strong understanding of electrical systems, inverters, and battery storage solutions.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills for effective client and team interaction.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
