Job Title: RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE
Position/Schedule: Part time
Reports to: Showroom Manager, CEO

Summary of Position: The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, assisting customers with selecting and arranging floral products, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, responding to customer inquiries and special requests, and collaborating with team members to ensure a positive customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer any incoming phone calls politely and respond to the customers’ queries immediately or within the same business day
- Maintain shop and offices (i.e. dusting, cleaning, rubbish removal) to ensure a safe and aesthetic environment, including but not limited to eating on the counters or in front of the customers
- Ensure filing is done properly and follow up on all unpaid orders at least once a month
- Manage sales transactions and cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity
- Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation and reporting
- Assist Showroom Manager in stock control and timely replenishment
- Take orders in person, over the phone and from the website from customers, including special requests, delivery date and location and processing payment
- Upsell, cross-sell, or suggest when needed and if possible, arrangements, flowers and greenery from the existing stock
- Consult with customers on budget and preferences to design and create arrangements based on specifications to provide satisfaction
- Explain care of arrangements for customers to prolong the life of the flowers for maximum enjoyment
- Receive incoming merchandise, checks invoices, unpacks and assists with pricing as directed by Manager
- Prepare the next-days orders and coordinate their dispatch with the drivers
- Dress professionally and assist politely and with high professionalism customers with gift/flower suggestions and refers any customer complaints to Manager
- Be available on-site and off-site to help the Showroom Manager assist customers on existing orders
- Coordinate with Showroom Manager leaves to make sure the showroom is always adequately staffed and managed
Education & Experience
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma equivalent
Tri-lingual: Arabic, French, English
Desired/Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and courteous manner
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and coworkers
- Basic knowledge of floral design and arrangement techniques to provide advice and suggestions to customers
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures and sales transactions to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Basic computer skills to process orders, maintain inventory, and update customer information
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
- Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to assist coworkers in various tasks.
Schedule:
- Flexible work schedule including occasional weekends for wedding and special events
- Working days are:
o Monday to Saturday:
- 3 Days from 16h00-21h00 and 1 Day from 8h00-21h00 (+extra hours whenever needed)
- + 2 Day OFF excluding Sundays
o Sunday:
- 8h00-14h00 (+extra hours whenever needed)
- This position requires working outside working hour.
The hours worked outside working hours will be deducted from the total working hours of the following week – in coordination with the Showroom Mana
