The
Presales Manager at Classera is responsible for leading and managing a team of presales engineers, ensuring the delivery of exceptional technical expertise and customized solutions for clients. This role combines leadership, strategy, and hands-on involvement in solution development, client engagement, and team management. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of presales engineers, supporting their growth and technical expertise.
- Set performance goals and monitor progress to maintain high standards of delivery.
- Balance workload and allocate resources effectively across the team to prioritize client needs.
- Lead by example, inspiring the team to provide exceptional technical solutions.
Solution Development
- Collaborate with the sales team to analyze client requirements and create customized solutions.
- Oversee the development of solutions ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations.
Technical Expertise
- Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept presentations to showcase Classera’s solutions.
- Keep the team updated on Classera’s product portfolio, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Proposal Support
- Guide the team in creating technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution documentation.
- Review and approve technical deliverables to maintain quality and consistency.
Client Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, positioning Classera as a preferred partner.
- Support the sales team in establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Market Insights
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to enhance Classera’s competitive edge.
- Share insights with internal teams to foster innovation and improvements.
Training & Enablement
- Develop training programs to ensure ongoing development for the presales team.
- Collaborate with internal teams to share best practices and improve cross-functional alignment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: At least 7 years in a presales or technical sales role, with at least 2 years of experience managing a team. Proven experience in delivering technical presentations and driving presales strategy.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in SaaS platforms, learning management systems (LMS), cloud technologies, and familiarity with APIs, integration methodologies, and system architecture.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and presentation skills. Analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
