Restaurant Manager – New Concept Launch

About Us:
We are launching an exciting new restaurant concept that with a unique dining experience at a getaway destination with an equestrian center and hotel. This is an opportunity to be part of something from the ground up, shaping every aspect of the restaurant’s operations, brand, and guest experience.
The restaurant has an indoor area of 200 sq meters and an outdoor terrace of 300 sq m. there is also a pool side terrace of 180 sq m.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on, highly motivated Restaurant Manager to lead the launch and operation of our new restaurant. This role requires a self-starter with initiative, creativity, and operational expertise to oversee all aspects of the restaurant from pre-opening setup to daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Opening Setup: Lead all operational and administrative tasks to prepare the restaurant for launch, including workflow design, procurement, and vendor relations.

Menu Development: Collaborate with chefs and culinary teams to design, test, and finalize the menu, including pricing, presentation, and portion control.

Branding & Marketing: Assist in establishing the restaurant’s brand identity, marketing strategies, social media presence, and promotional campaigns.

Staffing & Training: Recruit, hire, and train front-of-house and back-of-house staff, establishing operational standards and culture.

Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, accounting, payroll, and inventory management to ensure profitable operations.

Operations Management: Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), monitor daily operations, ensure health and safety compliance, and maintain high standards of service and guest experience.

Problem Solving: Address operational challenges proactively and implement solutions to maintain smooth operations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, or similar role in hospitality.

Hands-on, proactive approach; comfortable with every aspect of restaurant operations.

Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.

Excellent leadership and team-building skills; ability to hire, train, and inspire staff.

Experience in menu development, vendor management, and marketing/branding is highly desirable.

Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
