Job Title: ABA Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist to work with children and individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental delays. The ABA Therapist will implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to improve communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in home, school, or clinical settings.

Implement treatment and behavior intervention plans designed by the supervising BCBA.

Collect and record accurate data on client progress and behaviors during sessions.

Support skill development in communication, socialization, play, academics, and self-care.

Use positive reinforcement and ABA techniques consistently.

Collaborate with families, teachers, and supervisors to ensure continuity of care.

Participate in ongoing training and supervision sessions.

Maintain confidentiality and follow ethical standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred).

Previous experience with children or individuals with special needs (preferred).

Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to follow treatment plans and work under supervision.

Physical ability to interact with clients (sitting on floor, lifting up to 20 lbs if needed).

RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification is a plus but not required.

Sessions may take place in homes, schools, community settings, or clinics.
