Your Mission

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our web, mobile, and API applications. You’ll lead the migration of our current testing workflows from TestRail to Azure DevOps Test Plans, expand our automation coverage using Playwright, and help build a strong QA foundation integrated with our CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

1 - Manual Testing & Test Design

• Execute manual testing for API, web, and mobile applications to validate new features and releases.
• Design and maintain detailed test cases and scenarios to ensure full coverage and reproducibility.
• Apply modern testing methodologies to prevent the “pesticide paradox” and uncover edge cases early.

2 - Test Management & Migration

• Lead the migration of existing test cases from TestRail to Azure DevOps Test Plans, ensuring traceability with user stories and automated builds.
• Establish QA workflows in Azure DevOps, integrating test runs, reporting, and dashboards.

3 - Automation Development (Playwright)

• Develop, expand, and maintain automated UI tests using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to embed automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Support transition from Selenium/Python tests toward Playwright-based automation for improved reliability and maintainability.

4 - API & Mobile Testing

• Build and maintain automated API test suites (Postman, Python, or Playwright API).
• Support and maintain mobile app testing frameworks using Appium or device farms (Firebase, AWS Device Farm).

5 - Continuous Improvement & Reporting

• Ensure detailed bug reporting and documentation in Azure DevOps Boards.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to define clear acceptance criteria.
• Continuously optimize testing processes for speed, coverage, and maintainability.

What We’re Looking For

• B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in software testing (manual + automated)
• Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans or migration from similar tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Playwright
• Familiarity with CI/CD test integration in Azure DevOps
• Experience testing mobile apps, REST APIs, and Cloud-based SaaS solutions
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
