Food Safety specialist

Afkar Holding is looking for a food safety specialist:
Main Duties:
o Check if store keepers are checking all products and receiving products according to standards, especially fresh and critical items.
o Inspect store areas for cleanliness, proper organizing as per policies and procedures.
o Inspect for expiry dates of all items.
o Inspect for shelf life of all products.
o Check temperature of fridges and food regularly.
o Inspect and check staff personal hygiene and adherence to safety and food handling rules and regulations.
o Spend time during operating hours in the kitchen to check on food handling practices and give guidance and feedback to kitchen employees on best practices.
Qualifications:
o Possess a university degree/in process of receiving a degree in food technology, nutrition or equivalent.
o 1-2 years experience in similar position.
o Hard worker, well organized and able to prioritize.
o Very attentive to details and quick learner
