Position Overview

A Nail Technician is responsible for providing high-quality nail care services, ensuring exceptional customer experience, maintaining hygiene standards, and contributing to a positive and luxurious atmosphere in the beauty lounge. The role requires creativity, precision, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Nail Services

Perform classic, gel, acrylic, BIAB, and extensions.

Shape, trim, file, buff nails with precision.

Provide manicure and pedicure services.

Apply nail art, designs, gemstones, chrome, foils, stickers, 3D art, and custom creative styles.

Offer hand and foot treatments (scrubs, paraffin, masks).

Repair broken nails and perform maintenance on extensions.

Customer Experience

Greet clients warmly and consult to understand their preferences.

Recommend shapes, colors, treatments based on nail condition.

Provide professional advice for nail aftercare.

Maintain a clean, relaxing, and welcoming environment.

Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Hygiene & Safety

Follow strict sanitation and sterilization procedures.

Properly disinfect tools, equipment, and workstations.

Adhere to salon safety standards and hygiene protocols.

Maintain personal cleanliness and professional appearance.

Product Knowledge & Sales

Understand and promote salon products and treatments.

Upsell services when appropriate.

Help clients choose suitable products for home care.

Teamwork & Operations

Coordinate with reception and other technicians for smooth scheduling.

Maintain inventory of tools, polishes, and materials.

Report equipment issues or supply shortages.

Participate in training, workshops, and team meetings.

Requirements

Proven experience as a nail technician/artist.

Certification in nail care or cosmetology is preferred.

Strong knowledge of nail health and cosmetic trends.

Excellent attention to detail and steady hand.

Creativity in nail design and art.

Good communication and customer-service skills.

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and peak seasons.

Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills

Advanced gel and acrylic sculpting.

Russian manicure technique.

Expert-level nail art (freehand, 3D, encapsulation).

Fast and efficient without compromising quality.

Familiarity with premium brands (e.g., OPI, Gelish, The Gel Bottle, etc.)
