Barista - Downtown Beirut Restaurant

About Us: A prominent, high-volume restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Beirut requires an experienced and efficient Barista. This role demands precision, speed, and consistent quality in a fast-paced environment catering to a discerning clientele.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain professional espresso equipment, including grinding, tamping, and extracting shots to a high standard.
Prepare and serve a full menu of hot and cold beverages, including espresso, Americano, cappuccino, latte, tea, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
Manage a high volume of orders efficiently and accurately, often simultaneously, maintaining minimal wait times.
Handle cash and process electronic payments using a POS system.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and surrounding areas (including regular cleaning of espresso machine group heads, steam wands, and grinders).
Monitor and manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies; report low stock immediately.
Ensure all food safety and sanitation procedures are strictly followed.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth service flow.
Address guest inquiries regarding coffee products and ingredients professionally and accurately.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of professional Barista experience in a high-volume café or restaurant setting is mandatory.
Demonstrable expertise in latte art and advanced milk texturing techniques.
Exceptional working knowledge of coffee origins, roasting processes, and various brewing methods.
Proven ability to work accurately and rapidly during peak business hours.
Strong verbal communication skills in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
