The Market Cashier is responsible for providing a seamless and courteous checkout experience for hotel guests and visitors. The role requires accuracy in cash handling, strong customer service skills, and maintaining the high standards expected in a 5-star hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and process purchases accurately and efficiently

Handle cash, credit cards, room charges, and other approved payment methods

Ensure correct pricing, promotions, and discounts are applied

Issue receipts and manage cash drawer with full accountability

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area at all times

Assist guests with product inquiries and provide basic product knowledge

Coordinate with market staff and supervisors for smooth daily operations

Report discrepancies, shortages, or system issues immediately

Follow hotel policies, security procedures, and brand standards

Qualifications & Skills

Previous cashier or retail experience (hotel or luxury retail preferred)

Strong numerical and attention-to-detail skills

Excellent customer service and communication abilities

Professional appearance and friendly attitude

Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

Basic knowledge of POS systems (hotel systems a plus)

Fluency in English; Arabic required (French is a plus)
