Job Details

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service to our business clients, primarily for companies working in the mining sector. This role requires proactive follow-ups with various customer levels, including end users, managers, and procurement teams, to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with subcontractors or the main mine itself in regards to our categories of products.
- Push for our products/services to be implemented with our customers.
- Conduct regular visits to customer sites to maintain strong relationships and understand customer needs.
- Achieve sales targets by promoting our range of tires, lubricants, spares, and tools.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain regular communication with customers, including end users and managers.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve service offerings and address any issues.
3. Follow-Up and Coordination:
- Follow up on orders, deliveries, and quotations with customers to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment.
- Coordinate with the internal logistics and procurement teams to resolve any issues related to product availability, delivery, or pricing.
4. Problem Solving and Customer Service:
- Provide solutions to customer problems, such as delays in delivery, product issues, or service complaints.
- Ensure all customer complaints are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner, with proper documentation and follow-up.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups using CRM in SAP.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
6. Product Knowledge and Training:
- Stay updated on product offerings and industry trends to effectively address customer inquiries.
- Provide product demonstrations and training to customers as needed.
7. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other salespeople, the sales manager, after sales teams and other internal teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies and goals.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the mining sector or related industries.
- French is a Must
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving mindset with a customer-centric approach.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales reporting tools
