The Helpdesk / BMS Operator is responsible for handling service requests, monitoring building systems through the Building Management System (BMS), and ensuring efficient coordination of maintenance activities. The role serves as the first point of contact for clients and ensures timely response and resolution of facility-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Helpdesk Duties:

Receive and log service requests, complaints, and inquiries from clients via phone, email, or system
Assign and dispatch work orders to maintenance teams
Track job progress and ensure timely closure of tickets
Maintain accurate records of requests and actions taken
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction

BMS Operation:

Monitor HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, and other systems via BMS
Identify and respond to alarms and system faults
Adjust system settings as required to maintain optimal performance
Report any abnormalities or critical issues to the supervisor

Coordination & Reporting:

Coordinate with technicians and supervisors for job execution
Prepare daily/weekly reports on complaints, alarms, and completed tasks
Maintain logs of system performance and incidents
Ensure compliance with company procedures and service level agreements (SLAs)
