Role Overview:
The Janitor is primarily responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and overall integrity of the campus during non-operational hours. The role focuses on monitoring the premises, identifying risks, and acting as the first point of response for any incidents or urgent facility-related needs overnight.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safety & Security Monitoring (Primary Focus)
• Conduct routine patrols and walkthroughs across the campus to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Monitor all access points, ensuring doors, gates, and common areas are properly secured.
• Identify and report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches.
• Act promptly in case of incidents and coordinate with security personnel or relevant authorities when needed.

Incident Response & Escalation
• Serve as the first point of contact for any incidents occurring during night hours.
• Take immediate action when required and escalate issues according to established protocols.
• Ensure proper documentation of incidents and actions taken.

Basic Facility Oversight
• Monitor the general condition of the campus and report any damages, malfunctions, or irregularities.
• Provide basic support for minor technical or maintenance issues when possible.
• Escalate any major technical or facility-related concerns to the relevant teams.

Reporting & Handover
• Maintain a detailed log of patrols, incidents, and observations throughout the shift.
• Provide a clear and structured handover report to the day team or supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Previous experience in security, facility monitoring, or similar roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and remain alert during night shifts.
• Basic technical or maintenance knowledge is an advantage.
