Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with 8–10 years of experience, preferably within the ERP or software industry. The role is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, supporting audits, and optimizing accounting processes within the ERP system. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting expertise with hands-on ERP experience and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local regulations
Manage and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
Maintain and optimize accounting processes within the ERP system (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle)
Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, projects) to ensure proper financial data flow and cost tracking
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external/internal auditors
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, VAT filings, and statutory requirements
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the ERP environment
Support implementation, upgrades, or enhancements of ERP financial modules
Mentor junior accounting staff and support their development
Manage and track software licenses, subscriptions, and renewals, ensuring timely processing and proper accounting treatment
Monitor and account for service contracts and SLA (Service Level Agreements), ensuring accurate revenue and cost recognition
Oversee client collections and follow up on outstanding receivables to maintain healthy cash flow
Handle vendor purchases and payments, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and recording within the ERP system
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in ERP/software or IT services industry
Strong knowledge of local tax regulations
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365)
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
Experience in audit preparation and financial reporting
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in project-based accounting or service-based companies
Prior involvement in ERP implementation or system optimization projects
Knowledge of multi-entity or multi-country accounting environments
