In-House Facility Management Company Seeking a Control Room Operator.

Position Overview:

The Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and coordinating all building systems and equipment from the centralized control room. This includes utilities, HVAC, power supply, generators, pumps, elevators, and safety systems. The role ensures uninterrupted facility operations by responding to alarms, coordinating with maintenance teams, and maintaining accurate logs and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate building management systems (BMS), CCTV, power supply, generators, water pumps, HVAC systems, elevators, fire alarms, and other facility-related equipment.
• Identify abnormal conditions, faults, or alarms and take immediate corrective actions or escalate to the concerned technical team.
• Coordinate with on-site maintenance, electrical, and mechanical staff to ensure proper response to system issues.
• Log all operational activities, alarms, incidents, and interventions in the control room records.
• Perform regular checks on control room systems and report malfunctions to supervisors for prompt repair.
• Track diesel consumption, water supply, power usage, and other utilities as part of daily reports.
• Maintain effective communication with facility staff, contractors, and emergency services when required.
• Ensure proper shift handover, providing updates on all ongoing issues, incidents, and pending work.
• Support in emergency situations such as power outages, equipment failure, or fire alarms by coordinating the response process according to established procedures.
• Follow company safety protocols, facility operation policies, and reporting standards
