SGMC is currently recruiting a Mid Wife 


Job Responsabilities:
We are seeking a dedicated Midwife to provide comprehensive maternity care by assessing and admitting pregnant women, monitoring labor progress and fetal well-being, and implementing obstetrician orders, including medication administration and diagnostic requests. The role includes preparing patients for procedures such as epidural anesthesia, assisting during delivery, and ensuring immediate newborn care, including resuscitation and Apgar scoring.


The Midwife will conduct postnatal monitoring for both mother and newborn, support breastfeeding and patient education, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including obstetricians and pediatricians.


Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, ensuring infection control and patient safety standards, managing medical supplies and equipment.



Qualifications

Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery, Nursing, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Valid license from MOPH to practice as a Midwife.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in maternity, labor and delivery, or a related clinical setting.
  • Experience in hospital-based obstetric care is an asset.
